Sunday Morning at the Quayside

I'd only been to the Quayside market once before, and that was about 3 years ago now, so I suggested to my family having a drive down to Gateshead Quayside for a wonder around the stalls and a look around the Baltic.

I decided to wear something comfortable, and take a big bag in case I bought lots of stuff. I wore this 3/4 length sleeved top in a rusty colour with my faded black ripped jeans from New Look, my tan suede mid heeled boots from New Look, and my black shopper bag from Topshop. I then put my bargainous mac from George at Asda over the top, with my big scarf from New Look.

For my makeup, I went pretty simple with a neutral eye and nude lip! The lipstick is 'Brave' from MAC.

Once we got there, we walked across the Millennium bridge and started wondering along the market stalls. I took a few photos of some of the stalls that caught my eye!

I did buy some of these macarons... but promptly ate them! Oops!

Once we wondered around the market and bought a few things, we walked back over the bridge to have a look in the Baltic shop. I love the shop in the Baltic. They sell a variety of quirky things for the home, and gifts!

Here is everything I bought!

Black geometric vase £2 and Giant decorative safety pin £4.95, both from Baltic gift shop
Sundae bubblegum candle and essential oils, both from the market
I love living in the North. There's always lovely places to visit, and there is loads to do in the way of tourism. I'm only a bus ride away from the city, and very close to the sea! It's the best of both worlds really! The only thing is the extortionate train prices to get down to London, but other than that, I love living here! I was going to head to the Great British Cupcakery, but the queue was out the door! I'll more than likely go back at some point, so there will most likely be a blog post on it!

I had such a nice day, and the weather was lovely! Spring is definitely here!
