Let There Be Crumbs x Andrew Blas Collaboration Launch

Last Thursday, I attended the launch of the new 'Proper Patisserie' collaboration at the Let There Be Crumbs tea room in Roker, Sunderland. The tearoom have joined forces with an award winning pâtissier, Andrew Blas.


Andrew Blas is a former Executive Pastry Chef at Londons Hotel Cafe Royal, and captain of the UK pastry World Cup team 2017, with his first solo venture, 'Proper Patisserie'. The collaboration is available from the 29th May, along with the tearooms new menu of breakfasts, sandwiches and ice creams.

Hailing from Roker, Sunderland, Andrew is one of the Uk's most highly skilled pastry chefs. Trained by Benoit Blin, who is currently a judge on the Bake Off: Creme De La Creme.

I was invited along with other bloggers to test out some of their new bakes, and learn a bit more about the man behind it all!
